Mon 12th March -    Sat 17th March Rent @ Theatre Royal Rent is and exciting and turbulent musical, celebrating the lives, loves, hopes and ambitions of a hip group of twenty somethings in the East Village, as they struggle with the soaring hopes and tough realities of New York... it's also a bloody good play! We will be going; the exact day is not yet confirmed but watch this space... oh its £10 for students in the stalls - bargain!!! Wed 21st March Metrosexuality Channel 4 at 11.15pm - and it's just so gay!! Part four of this colourful queer fest!!! If you saw the first few - then this just can't be mizt..?! Thur 15th March Cherub @ Le Kepi Blanc After the AGM moving to the Bank at 'round 'bout 9pm for a few shandies(?) to try and catch the cast of RENT then to see the go-go boys and dancing queens... down at Le Kepi Blanc!   Wed 21st March Metrosexuality Channel 4 at 11.15pm - and it's just so gay!! What? So go-on spill the beans!! Hyjra @ Drum Theatre The first big 'outing' of the society in the 2000-2001 year, this play ended up being a really good gay hoot. And we even ended up in a straight bar?! Virgin Night @ Boxes Wow, our first big trip out of Plymouth! and one which not everyone can actualy remember... but a good time was had by all and it started off this now regular event! Fancy Dress @ Boxes Costumes were dug out from those 'closets' and doned for the Christmas trip upto Exeter - a sight that was maybe not quite as pretty as it could have been - ooer missus! World AIDS Day\Week This went very well we raised over £300 which is the most this Union has ever raised for the event. This money is gonna be split 70/30 between Eddystone Trust and the National AIDS Trust. - dunnit make you feel good?! Virgin Night @ Cherub Despite being smack in the middle of reading week this night has become one to look back upon fondly. With go-go boys shakin' their shakables and us becoming VIPs for the night! (that's Very Intoxicated People actually) Rent @ Theatre Royal Moooo! A great turn out for a great performance, a whole bunch of us made it to the 2001 UK tour of this musical... alas Adam Ricket did not make the performance but his substitute was just as cute...!
