| The Society provides
a number of services (ooo-er!) for you guys and gals, we try to provide a cheap and
affordable way for you to become that little bit of a better person... I know its hard,
but we can all grow as individuals.... naahhHH honestly we can! For fully paid-up members there are a numbner of vidz, magazines and books that can be borrowed. We also have a 'swap-shop' that enables you to advertise your brick-a-brack that you no longer want - aint we good to you. Also and probably most importantly we can give you good sound advice, information or even herpes! (-no only kidding!) Between us we have been to loads of places and done loads of things - we are always happy to share our experiences with you, infact we hardly ever shut up about them, so if you can find a moment between breaths - dont hessitate to ask wotever's playing on your mind!! |
| We have a few top
titles in our little video collection, but there are many more out there. These mainly
deal with homosexuality as a major theme - and all are a great hoot. To get your hands on any of these get in touch with a member of the committee, and they will be quite happy to meet up with you and dish 'em out. But remember that others use them too so rewind the buggers!!! We are always looking to increase
our collection so if you can suggest anything that you would like to see here... please

Beautiful Thing (15) This is a really sweet tale of a young lad coming to terms with his sexuality, his feelings for his friend and dealing with his family. The film is a good mix of drama and heart warming emotion |

Jeffrey (15) O-Me-God did I giggle at this flick, a very funny look at the way the gay community deals with AIDS and HIV. Some good performances and some scenes to die for - absolutely fantastic! |

Philladelphia (15) A story of a gay man facing the world when he is fired from his work because he has AIDS. A very moving tale set in the 1980's when the world didn't quite know the full picture - very emotive |

Queer as Folk (18) 'The one-night stand that never went away..." kinda sums up this terrific mini series. If all the shyte could hit the fan - it does for these guys, the consequences do however leave you belly laughing in your seat!!! |

Priest (15) Facing the world as a homosexual is never easy... especially if your a catholic priest. This film captures the ups and downs that come from believing in the good, the great and oneself - not always easy. Well portrayed and depicted - certainly worth a watch. |

Prescilla Queen of the
Desert (15) The classic queer movie! One of those that just has to be seen... a story of three drag artists crossing the australian outback in their 'pink' bus - Prescilla. Definately a laugh and a half. |
